Saturdays in Ceret, France
I wish we had a market like that here in Colombia.. we have others amazing things, but a good cheese market is not one of them!
Even my Turkish husband agreed the cheese I brought home was terrific.
My husband and I are living in Turkey, Antalya, fir more than 20 years and I love the weekly and daily markets.
This made me so hungry. That bread and shellfish. Yum! And I’d totally try that black cheese. Looks like the next time we visit family in Barcelona, we’ll have to spend some time in Cerét! Slaud!
Absolutely.
Fantastic post! I'm ready to book a flight!!:)
What was that black cheese? I couldn't read the label.
Betty, I have no idea. But it was terrific. I’ll ask my friend who helped me and see if she knows.
Hi R.S., I have been to Ceret and Parpignon and remember the market well. Enjoy!
Nothing beats a rotisserie chicken!
Especially when it’s hot!
You did the market justice with this lovely post! Now I'm hankering for some of that cheese.
Looks charming and delicious! In equal parts!
I think charming is the correct word.
